RETIREMENT Teacher Retirement Fund Corporation contributes 10.1% of salary 401A (Retirement account) Employer contributes 1.5% of salary VEBA (Medical costs after retirement) Employer contributes 1.5% of salary 403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity Employer match up to 1.5% of salary Optional Must be 100% vested to receive the 401A and VEBA contributions At least age 55 and 6 years of teaching with Jay School Corporation (Retirement) Upon death or permanent disability

BENEFIT DAYS Sick Days (Maximum of 90 days) 10 days for the first year 9 days every year following Personal Days 3 days annually Accumulated Sick Days from Prior District If a new teacher with prior experience in the Indiana Public School System has accumulated sick days from the immediately prior corporation, those days will be credited to the teacher at the beginning of the second year of employment in the Corporation. They will be credited as follows: Three (3) days per year until a teacher has served five (5) years in the Corporation. Upon signing a sixth regular contract, all days accumulated in the prior corporation shall be transferred up to the maximum allowable that year in the Corporation.
