5. ELIGIBILITY, EFFECTIVE DATES AND TERMINATION OF DEPENDENT CHILDREN INSURANCE If your Dependent Child is Confined on that date, your increase in Dependent Children Critical Illness Insurance or benefits will not start until your Dependent Child is no longer Confined. To continue coverage beyond 31 days, you must: · enroll for Dependent Children Critical Illness Insurance within 31 days from the date the newborn child, newly placed foster child or newly adopted child becomes your Dependent Child; and · pay the required premium to continue your Dependent Children Critical Illness Insurance.
