Basic Life and AD&D The employer-paid basic life and accident, death, and dismemberment insurance policy is available to all full-time employees. In the event of your death, your beneficiaries will receive the following: Class 1 – Superintendent: 3x annual base salary up to $350,000 Class 2 – Administrative: 2x annual base salary up to $350,000 Class 3 - All Other Active Full-Time (including board members): $50,000 Class 4 – Retired Superintendent: 3x annual base salary (at retirement) up to $350,000 Class 5 – Retired Administrative: 2x annual base salary (at retirement) up to $350,000 Class 6 - All Other Retired Employees (including board members): $50,000 Dependent Life Dependent life benefits are employee elected and paid. Spouse Benefit: $5,000 Child(ren) Birth to 6 Months: $1,000 Child(ren) 6 Months to 26 Years: $2,500 Long-Term Disability Employer-paid long-term disability protects your income for a period of time. Benefits begin 90 days after the date of the incident and will cover 66 2/3% of your earnings (up to $7,000/month).
